spotlight on teen night at the barn
Hayley Trageser taught teens how to make deviled eggs on teen night. She grew up on Bainbridge and wishes that she had a teen night to go to when she was growing up. She thinks it’s a wonderful event. Others think so too evidenced by lots of engagement from the community – even beyond the island. Eighty-two kids participated in the last one.
The kitchen staff selects recipes for teen night that are easy, don’t need the use of an oven and that are (mostly) healthy! They also welcome ideas from the teens themselves. What does Hayley like to cook the most? Banana Pancakes! Here is her recipe along with the deviled eggs that were made on Teen Night. Recipe for Deviled Eggs Recipe for Banana Pancakes |
